Simple bajji or fritters

Banana pepper fritters/mulaga bajji
Slit banana peppers in the middle.
Mix gram dal, chilli powder, rice powder (a little), asafoetida powder, red chilli flakes, salt, a little monosodium glutamate and sugar (both only if you prefer) into a batter of medium consistency using water.
Dip the slit banana peppers in the batter and fry in a pan of hot oil.

Other fritters
As you know, fritters can be made out of literally anything. We also made them with bread, and onion and green chillies.
Serve with any kind of chutney (my brother made a peanuts, coconut, chilli powder and salt blend) or sauce.

    i like the traditional ways of cooking , though some of the cooking techniques and spice combinations are new for me but i like experimenting n will try a few things for sure.
